Goalkeeper

Guglielmo Vicario (Tottenham): Despite ending up on the defeated team against the Blues, his teammates let him down. He was up against 18 attempts, nine directed at goal, with an expected goals of 3.36 for the opposition but he kept them in it. He never gave up for his side.

Defenders

Nico O'Reilly (Manchester City): The talented teen is frightening. Naturally a midfield engine, he slots in intelligently at left-back. His performance in the victory against the Cherries was impressive, marking him as a future star.

Gabriel (the Gunners): A persistent threat, he contributed to a further shutout for Arsenal. He remains a handful from set-pieces, just being there was decisive in the triumph at Turf Moor. Rival teams are intimidated by him.

Jean-Clair Todibo (the Hammers): Included for a couple of factors: West Ham's win and his composed, assured display. Although Newcastle were not at their best, he stood out on the ball and settled the play. After some shaky weeks, he seems to have grown under manager Nuno Espirito Santo.

Ryan Sessegnon (the Cottagers): He sparked the side in the victory over Wolves. Excellent in attack and reliable throughout the term, he's found the net recently. Fantastic to see him fit and performing.

Engine Room

Moises Caicedo (Chelsea): The sole midfielder no one can dispute. Crucial for his club, he stood as the best ball-winner. Like the Duracell Bunny, he drives everyone forward. Perhaps the best holding midfielder in the game.

Declan Rice (Arsenal): Another pivotal performance against Burnley. A dominant force, he netted and excels from dead balls. When they face weaker opponents, he recovers energy and executes forward surges. Crucial to unleash him.

Ryan Gravenberch (the Reds): He pushed forward, scoring versus a poor Aston Villa side. His ability to control the game with and without the ball, plus his vision and tackling, rendered him essential to the victory.

Forwards

Diego Gomez (Brighton): He netted two goals against Leeds, and he was elegant dribbling by opponents. Running with pace and power, he was preferred over teammate Danny Welbeck for this spot.

Erling Haaland (City): What else can be said about the machine? Each occasion he got through, a goal seemed certain. He never looked like missing. The King has returned. After summer talk about other strikers, Haaland reigns supreme. He could break goal tallies this season.

Rayan Cherki (City): Operating high on the right suits him best. Remarkably two-footed, uncommon like Santi Cazorla. He takes set-pieces equally well. A gifted player, he looks fit after his injury. His connection with Haaland is evidently why he was signed.

Manager

Nuno Espirito Santo (West Ham): If you missed it, check out the way he celebrated their third versus Newcastle. That shows how much it matters for him and the squad. He's aware West Ham are under pressure, yet they need to persevere and secure results.
