New South Wales Police Arrest Four Men Over Suspected International Ritualistic Child Exploitation Content Network

New South Wales law enforcement stated they've uncovered an international ritualistic child exploitation content ring and charged four Australian men for their alleged participation.

Probe Details

Investigators from the sex crimes squad indicated that as part of Operation Constantine, an inquiry into the digital distribution of child sexual abuse material involving satanic elements, they disrupted a Sydney-based organization.

Police alleged the group was actively involved in possessing, sharing and enabling this material through a online platform that was "administered internationally".

Police Actions

Officers, joined by the tactical unit, carried out six search warrants in the Waterloo area, Ultimo district and Malabar on Thursday morning the previous week.

  • In the Waterloo location, police arrested a 26-year-old man who they claimed played a "leading role" in the group.
  • He was accused with multiple offences including possession of child abuse material, distributing abusive material, and disseminating and possessing bestiality material.
  • Bail was denied to appear in court the previous Friday.

Further Detentions

In an apartment complex in Malabar, detectives arrested three men of ages forty-six, forty-two and thirty-nine.

They were also charged with possession of child abuse material and additional offenses.

All four are scheduled to appear to court at a future time.
